Christmas church services announced

Local churches have announced services regarding the Christmas holiday.

Emanuel Lutheran Church is planning their Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. with candlelight and communion.

A special News Year’s Eve service will be on Dec. 31. The service will focus on the new year with scripture and prayers. Anyone and everyone invited to participate.

The Zion Church of Philadelphia United Church of Christ will have regular 10 a.m. service on Dec. 24, as well as a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service with communion at 6 p.m. There will also be a service at 11:30 p.m. Sunday celebrating the birth of Jesus.

The Ritzville Nazarene Church will have Christmas Eve services beginning with the 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship, but no Sunday School. The church will also have a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The Lind Community Church is having a Candlelight Service at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Menno Mennonite Church will have a Christmas Eve service with special music at 10 a.m. on Dec. 24.

Washtucna Community Church will have Sunday worship at 11 a.m. and a Christmas Eve Service at 5 p.m.
