Winners of AAUW, Museum Volunteers raffles announced

After the Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 2, the announcement of the raffle winners for AAUW and Ritzville Museum Volunteers occurred.

AAUW raffle baskets were again a big draw for shoppers at the Dec. 2 Holiday Bazaar.

The Indulgence Basket was won by Lisa Swift, while Shirley Roth was the winner of the Kid’s Basket.

Erin Repp won the Christmas Basket, which featured a live miniature lit Christmas tree.

Harriet Lynch’s name was drawn for the Seahawks Basket, and Janet Springer won the Gourmet Basket, which featured items from Uniquely Washington.

A quilt created by Gretchen Snyder was the first prize selected in the “Pick a Prize” museums raffle. It was won by Andrea Powers Patterson of Boise.

A painting by the late Carol Ann Schwisow was chosen by winner Joanne McCrady.

A hand-painted tea pot was won by Boots Baird of Clarkston and Debbie Chapman’s name was drawn for the “Tea at the Burroughs”.

The museum volunteers sold tickets this fall and used their booth at the Dec. 2 Holiday Bazaar to sell tickets to shoppers, as well as to enlist additional volunteers for the two museums.

Over $500 was raised to fund expenses for the museum volunteers. Several community members indicated an interest in volunteering at the Depot in 2018.
