20th Annual Christmas Parade

The Lind Chamber of Commerce invites residents and visitors to join in the festivities for the 20th Annual Christmas Parade in Lind, on Sunday, Dec. 10.

The day’s activities begin with free chili, soup and hot dogs at the Lind Senior Center at 3 p.m. Santa Claus pictures will begin at the same time.

For $3, residents will receive a 5x7 card with two pictures. Additional photo prints are $1.

Following the chili feed and pictures with Santa will be the Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m.

Registration for parade floats starts at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the parade at the Lind Lion’s Club building.

Judging of the floats will begin at 5 p.m. and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three floats.

The chamber is also having a fundraiser for a fully-decorated Christmas tree. Tickets for the fundraiser are $1 and can be purchased at Crazy Quilter and Kindra’s Coffee Bar.

The chamber will also have tickets on sale on the day of the parade.
