Jingle Bell Shop event begins in Ritzville

Beginning on Nov. 23, local residents can participate in Jingle Bell Shop.

The event is sponsored by the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce and allows residents to turn in receipts from purchases at local businesses for the opportunity to win a prize.

Residents can shop and dine locally, and then bring proof of the purchase by taking the receipt to a collection box. A winner will be drawn weekly, and residents have a chance to win one of four holiday baskets.

Drawings will occur on Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22. A Chamber board member will contact the winners after each drawing.

The prizes are on display at Ritzville City Hall. Entry boxes for the contest are located at city hall, the Ritzville Public Library and various businesses in town.
