Local agencies respond to collisions, vehicle fires in Ritzville

Local firefighters and emergency crews had a busy four days with responding to collisions and vehicle fires.

On Nov. 10, Adams County Fire Protection District No. 1 and Ritzville EMTs responded to a vehicle rollover on westbound Interstate 90 at milepost 223, two miles east of Ritzville at 5:27 a.m.

A vehicle driving in the eastbound lane rolled over into the westbound lanes. ACFPD No. 1 Chief Scott Kembel said the agency sent two trucks and five firefighters to the scene. Firefighters helped EMTs with rescuing the injured driver.
