Bulldog News: LRMS activities discussed

The Lind-Ritzville Middle School ASB council planned a dress up week on Oct. 16-20 and had their game night on Friday, Oct. 27.

The National Honor Society chapter planned a Character Counts week on Oct. 23-27 teaching students to show respect, fairness, kindness, responsibility and citizenship.

The Lind-Ritzville Middle School volleyball team had their last month of matches including their home games on Oct. 2, 5, 12, and 16.

Their away matches were on Oct. 9 and they ended the volleyball season on Oct. 19 at Almira-Coulee/Hartline.

Heidi Nygren served as head coach, and Steve Nygren and Maureen Harder as the assistant coaches.

The football team had their last away game on Oct. 5 against Colfax and had home games on Oct. 12 and 19. They had their last game of the season on Oct. 23 versus Reardan.

For the football team, Dustan Arlt was head coach and Dale Anderson was the assistant coach.

The Lind-Ritzville Middle School girls had their first basketball practice on Monday, Oct. 23, with Steve Nygren and Shauna Sanger as their coaches.

The boys will get a break until basketball practice starts later this year.
