Lind residents named to Whitworth Provost list

Multiple Lind residents received degrees from Whitworth University.

Lind-Ritzville Cooperative Schools Counselor Annie Trunkle-Smart earned a master’s of education in school counseling.

She will continue to work for the Lind-Ritzville Districts helping students at both the grade school and high school levels.

LRHS alumna Brittany Dew received bachelor degrees in both accounting and business management.

Dew also made the provost Honor Roll for the 2017 spring semester.

She qualified for the academic honor society by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.75 during the semester.

Located in Spokane, Whitworth is a private, liberal arts university affiliated with the Presbyterian church.

The university, which has an enrollment of nearly 3,000 students, offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
