Randy died on Sunday, July 2 after a hard fought battle with kidney and heart disease. Randy was born to Tom and Nancy Meise in Pasco on Jan. 4, 1959.
He is survived by his children April, Aleena and Tyler of the Tri-Cities, his wife Michelle of the Tri-Cities, his parents Tom and Nancy of Moses Lake, his siblings Stan, Marvin, Monica, Warren and Fred, eight grandchildren and his former wife, Laurie Navarro.
Randy spent most of his life operating cranes for Lampson International across the country and abroad; it was his passion. Bring up Randy’s name and people always say he was one of the best at the controls of a Transi-Lift crane.
He was a fixture at the Tri-City Water Follies for years operating cranes. He was vocationally talented; he could build or repair anything.
His hobbies were jet boating and rafting on the Columbia and Snake rivers and in his earlier years he enjoyed a vast amount of time rafting down Hells Canyon.
Randy was a kind and generous person, always there to lend you a hand. Randy will always be remembered for his smiling face with a ready joke.
Randy, you will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
The Memorial Service for Randy will be held on Saturday, July 15, from 4-6 p.m. at Lampson International’s Headquarters, 607 E. Columbia Drive in Kennewick.
