He worked for the Lind School District and retired after about 10 years of service.

Survivors include his wife Bernice Kanzler of Moses Lake, his brothers: Gerald Kanzler of Kennewick and Gilbert Kanzler of Ritzville, and sons: Lee Kanzler of Lind and David Kanzler of Sprague, and one daughter Colleen Jorgensen of Coto de Caza, California: numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister Derla Eskelson.

Ken had a passion for his church, woodworking and gardening. He was a lifelong dedicated member of Calvary Assembly of God in Lind.

Ken had a knack for fixing things, building things, painting things and always finding a new project to keep him tinkering on something. You could find some of the things he made at local merchants.

His community involvement will be greatly missed.
