Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Adams County Board of Commissioners approved a concurrence with Central Washington Asphalt Inc. (CWA) for the Lind-Warden Road Project during the regular meeting on Monday, June 19.
County Engineer Scott Yaeger informed the Board he only received one bid from CWA for the project. The project consists of filling the culvert and a shoulder repair.
CWA bid $195 per ton for the culvert filling and $225 per ton for the shoulder repair. Yaeger states the bid includes taxes and any other addition charges.
He requested the Board approve a concurrence with CWA and sign a contract with them as well.
He said CWA’s plan is to begin construction this week in an attempt to open the road to the public soon.
The Board motioned to approve the concurrence. They then signed a contract with CWA for the Lind-Warden Project.
Yaeger then presented the bids from CWA for the Othello Area Pavement Repair Project. The project includes five sites in Othello in need of pavement repair.
CWA bid $175 per ton and $15,000 for traffic control.
The Board approved the bid from CWA for the Othello Area Pavement Repair Project.
