The Ritzville Depot Museum will be open on Memorial Day weekend for alumni use.
Depot staff will have the museum open on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. for alumni to browse annuals and memorabilia in the schoolroom.
Also, the Depot will be open Sunday, May 28, from noon to 4 p.m. for visitors.
Both museums will be open beginning May 30 on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule from noon until 4 p.m .; closing the Saturday prior to Labor Day.
New officers for the Museum Volunteers are Debbie Chapman as treasurer, Vivien Seaton will be working as a vice president at the Burroughs’ Home; Gaynel Gering as vice president for the Depot, Joanne McCrady continues as president and Nancy Burke as a vice president for the Burroughs’ Home.
A secretary for the museums’ board is needed.
Anyone wishing to schedule a birthday or other party at the Depot or Burroughs’ Home should contact Gering at 659-1279. Tours are being scheduled with Ann Olson at 659-4242.
