American Legion, VFW requests assistance

The American Legion Post 51 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11446 are asking for volunteers to assist with placing flags at the Ritzville Memorial Cemetery.

On Friday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m., the American Legion and VFW are putting up large flags surrounding the cemetery, and smaller flags at the headstone of each veteran. Volunteers are needed to assist with completing the process and allowing the local veterans to continue providing this service to the community.

On Monday at 5:30 p.m., volunteers are needed to assist with picking up the flags. The American Legion and VFW extends their wishes for everyone to have a save weekend and appreciates the support from the local community.
