Hospital Board reviews the District finances

The Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners met on April 27 to review and discuss the financials of the district, as well as current changes at the facility.

CEO/CFO Gary Bostrom advised the Board members of several bills at the state level that could potentially affect the district, if they are passed.

Bostrom said the bills include not requiring an EMT to drive the ambulance, another requiring EMTs to pay into the firefighters retirement system that would have to be matched by the employer, and a bill to require businesses to provide 26 weeks of paid maternity leav...
