The Lind and Ritzville students who traveled to Washington, D.C., in March are inviting the community to an assembly on April 28 to hear about their educational experience at the nation’s capital.
The event begins at 1:15 p.m. in Gilson Gymnasium on Friday.
The students presenting about the trip are Tessa Jantz, Morgan Lane, Pake Taylor, Kallie Harder, Cameron Weber, Chandler Widman, Megan Buriak, Lacey Miller, Spencer Miller and Cooper Miller.
Along with community members, students from fourth through 12th grade from Lind and Ritzville School Districts will also be in attendance.
The assembly will function as a Town Hall style meeting, where community members will be able to ask questions of the students.
Also during the assembly, the speakers will present a flag given to the school district from Congressman Dan Newhouse.
