Museum Volunteers’ meeting May 9

The Ritzville Museum volunteers will be holding the annual meeting and begin planning for 2017 events on May 9 at 11 a.m. at Memories Diner.

Those attending and planning to order lunch are asked to order when arriving. Doors will be open at 10:30 a.m. for a social time.

A summary of 2016 accomplishments will be noted during the meeting and new officers will be elected.

Also, volunteers will have the opportunity to ask questions and express their desire on how they would like to help the museums in 2017.

The museums are staffed from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend from noon to 4 p.m.

Docents at both the Depot and Burroughs’ Home share Ritzville’s museum treasurers with visitors from around the world.
