Northeast Washington Haygrowers’ Association 2017 Spring Field Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
Loren Lentz is hosting the Haygrowers Field Day at 4513 Bellstar Road in Clayton.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. at the door, and costs $10 for members or $15 for non-members.
The event begins at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to adjourn at 1:30 p.m.
The topics scheduled for the Field Day are: Poisonous Plants and Pesticides Problematic for Livestock Found in Hay Production; Using Annual Forage Crop Rotations To Manage Weeds; and Crop Protection Product (CPP) Tool Box - For Hay Growers.
There are two pesticide applicator recertification credits available for attending both sessions.
A catered lunch is also provided during the event, and attendees are asked to bring a chair for the presentations and meal.
