LWK Tigercats continue successful tennis season

The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats had two strong performances following the week off from matches.

The Tigercats played a league match against Wilbur-Creston before moving on to compete in a nonleague match against Connell’s junior varsity team.

The team traveled to Creston on April 11 and returned with a 4-1 victory.

Aarron Phelps started the team’s competitive matches in the No. 1 singles position. Phelps faced Daniel Harms, and after more than two grueling hours of competition, Phelps won 4-6, 6-1, 8-6.
