On the morning of Nov. 10, 2016, members of the Ritzville Fire Department responded to a structure fire call and saved the life of a male victim trapped inside a burning house.
Because of the heroic act, two volunteer firefighters are being honored at the American Red Cross’ annual Hometown Heroes Luncheon on April 26 at the Spokane Convention Center.
Ritzville firefighters David Breazeale and Robert Dew were one of the first members to respond to the scene with Ritzville Fire Chief Bill Banner and firefighter Mark Cameron.
