In honor of the Easter holiday, the Washtucna and Lind communities are hosting easter egg hunts for local youth on Saturday, April 15.
The Washtucna Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Washtucna Associated Student Body and will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Bassett Park. Children in sixth grade and under are welcome to participate in the hunt.
Prior to the event the Washtucna Lions Club is serving breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The meal is provided by donation only.
The annual Lind Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Lind Lions Club, starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the town park. The event is open to children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Prizes will be given to participants who find gold and silver eggs. The prizes will consist of candy and Easter baskets.
