Arbor Day scheduled April 12

The Ritzville City Tree Board invites community members to celebrate Arbor Day on Wednesday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at the Ritzville City Park.

The morning festivities include the presentation of colors by the Boy Scouts Troop 888, Arbor Day Proclamation by Mayor Gary Cook and a presentation of the Tree City USA plaque by Washington State Conservation District representative Garth Davis. This is Ritzville’s seventh year receiving the achievement.
