EGG DYING. The Ritzville Public Library held a Silk Tie Egg Dying Crafternoon in honor of the upcoming Easter holiday. Participants like Carmen Schumann and Sally Haase began the process by wrapping eggs with pieces of damp silk ties and white cloth before boiling them for 20 minutes in water and one-fourth cup vinegar to create unique and beautiful designs. -Journal photo by Haley Roybal...
