Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
I would like to begin this letter by expressing my extreme gratitude to the residents of Ritzville and to all of those members of the community that decided to vote in the Feb. 14 election.
Your decision to improve the school’s facilities and the learning environments within our schools is an investment that is indicative of a community who views its children as its most precious resource. I believe the impact of this decision on our students is invaluable.
The gift that the community of Ritzville has given to our students cannot be measured in dollars and cents. It is a gesture that will not only touch these students, but students yet in our future.
I realize that Bonds are not passed by a single person, rather it is a collective conversation and decision made by the entire community.
It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a part of Lind-Ritzville Cooperative Schools and to be a part of two communities that come together in support of our children, our teachers, and schools!
Again, thank you.
Matthew Ellis, Ritzville
