The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos faced two tough competitors over the weekend, and now prepare for two more of the league’s top teams. The Broncos faced Springdale and St. George’s in league battles, and suffered two league losses.
The Broncos hosted Springdale on Friday, Jan. 20, and after a strong first half effort, the Chargers ran out to a 71-53 win over the LRS team. Head Coach Dustan Arlt said prior to the game, it would be the most winnable of the upcoming competitions, but the Chargers had a strong shooting night and the Broncos could not keep up with the tempo of the game.
