The toll of winter

For all of you fine people who said, “We sure haven’t had a cold winter with a bunch of snow like we did when we were growing up…’’

All I can say is, “Are you happy now?”

It is difficult to get motivated on those miserably cold mornings scraping ice off the windshield and hoping the car doors aren’t frozen shut. You could say that I’m rooting for global warming.

If the icebergs melt and the seas rise let’s just say I’m glad I’m close to 300 miles away from the Pacific Ocean. We’ll deal with the folks heading east at a later date.
