Area churches announce special Christmas services

To celebrate the upcoming holidays, area churches are hosting special Christmas and Christmas Eve services and encourage community members to attend the events.

The New Hope Center will have a special Christmas service on Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Richard Lee encourages residents to attend the program.

The Lind Community Church will be having a candlelight service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. In addition to the candlelight service, the church will have service at 10 a.m. on Christmas day.

The Trinity United Methodist Church offers a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24 as well. On Christmas day, TUMC begins with a holiday worship service at 10:30 a.m.

Emanuel Lutheran Church will be hosting Christmas Eve carols and a candlelight service on Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. The church will also be offering a Christmas day communion service starting at 11 a.m. and a New Year’s Day communion on Jan. 1 at 11 a.m.

The Ritzville Nazarene Church are offering a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. Christmas day, the church will host Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m.

The Zion Philadelphia United Church of Christ hosts Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. and service on Christmas Day will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Saint Agnes Catholic Church will have mass on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. The church is having a service at 11 on Christmas morning.
