As the holiday season nears, many residents will be preparing their shopping lists to fulfill the wishes of friends and family members during a season famous for gift giving.
Although the primary focus is typically on the advertised bargains of major department stores and corporations, during Black Friday residents can save gas money and stress by shopping in downtown Ritzville on Saturday, Nov. 26, for Small Business Saturday.
The event allows community members to support local businesses by taking advantage of the holiday deals they provide.
