In a unanimous vote among the members of the Senate Majority Coalition Caucus, Sen. Mark Schoesler was re-elected to a second term as Senate Majority Leader.
Schoesler’s first term as Majority Leader began in 2014, winning election to the role after the departure of Sen. Rodney Tom, D-Medina, whose assistance in creating the Majority Coalition Caucus gave Republicans the majority in the Senate.
