Eli “Garrison” Wilson, seven months, died in Davenport, Wednesday morning, Nov. 9. He was born into the Harrington home of Lonnie and Saige Wilson on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Garrison was always a fighter. He conquered his Downs Syndrome with determination and strength, always meeting and exceeding expectations and goals.
Little Baby-Bear loved life, especially at bath time when he would happily splash. Garrison had a smile that was contagious and melted your heart, and a giggle like none other, it always brightened everyone’s day.
He will be greatly missed by his parents: Lonnie and Saige Wilson; brother: Jaydon Wilson; grandparents: Eldon and LoraLee Wilson, AnnetteKaye Casady and LoriAnn and Rob Robertson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; many friends and family members and the family hound that adored him: Oakley.
A viewing will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, from 11-11:45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 206 Coal Creek Road in Harrington, to be followed by a 12 p.m. Funeral Mass for Garrison, with Father Roy Floch and Father Kenny St. Hilaire, officiating. His burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Harrington.
