Velma Clara (Krug) Biermann

Velma Clara (Krug) Biermann was born Oct. 21, 1921, to Wilhelm and Emma (Dettmen) Krug at home, west of Hatton.

She was baptized as an infant and later confirmed with her brother Edward at Gideon Lutheran Church, which at that time was located in the country at Paradise Flats.

She attended school at Hatton until the seventh grade and then continued her education in Lind, graduating in 1938.

Velma lived at home on the farm until she married Emil Biermann of Lind on June 30, 1944. She then joined Good Hope Lutheran Church; where she served on the church counsel.
