Community members and students had the opportunity to listen to the success story of a former Ritzville resident, Tawna Wilsey on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Wilsey spoke to the (science, technology, engineering and math) STEM students, as well as Jason Aldrich’s science class about her career as an electrical engineer and artist.
She encouraged students to pursue their dreams and work hard in school. She also spoke about the hardships she faced in the process of receiving her degree, and becoming successful in her career.
