Burn ban lifted throughout county

The Adams County Fire Protection Districts in Lind and Ritzville have announced the burn ban has been lifted throughout the county as of Oct. 13.

Residents are reminded permits must still be obtained to burn, and city residents must follow the ordinances.

Adams County Fire Protection District No. 1 Scott Kembel said burning permits are available at Carpenter, McGuire and DeWulf, or Bob’s TV and Appliance in Ritzville.

Ritzville Fire Chief Bill Banner reminds city residents all fires must be attended during the day, and always contact dispatch before burning.
