Incident at local school raises concerns

I have heard about an issue that is greatly disturbing. Some boy who was sent to Washtucna because he had been a problem somewhere else bought a tazer. Then he tazed three students. The parents were upset. The Superintendent and the school board for some reason sided with the boy over the parents. So the parents want to pull their children out of the school.

Whatever is right or wrong, I would not like my child getting tazed then nothing being done about it. I was told he is in 10 day suspension with tutoring. This is not being considered proper by the parents.

I fail to understand how there are excuses for what he did. I find that aggressive and needs to be responded to as an assault. I don’t want our school to close because we don’t have enough students. When parents want to pull out six kids to excuse the aggression of one student, I find the priorities completely upside down.
