Toastmasters presentation encourages creation of local chapter

The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a presentation by Toastmasters International, which encouraged the creation of a local chapter. Toastmasters is a club focused on improving communication and leadership for individuals looking to better themselves.

Toastmasters was established in 1924 and is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization geared towards helping people become more confident speakers, communicators and ambassadors.

Ed Newman, D9 Pathways Ambassador, spoke to the members present at the meeting about the benefits of joining Toastmasters.
