Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Robert Allan Wallace, 73, of Moses Lake, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at his home.
He was born to DeLoss and Anna Louis Wallace and raised in Grandview, Washington, along with his three siblings Deanna Wallace-Bufford, Eldon Wallace and Lorraine Wallace. He graduated from Grandview High School in 1961.
In 1963, he met and married Lorraine Koepp. They relocated to Lewiston, Idaho, and started their family being blessed with four children, William, James, Kellie and Louri.
Robert worked for Potlatch Corporation in Lewiston for 30 years until early retirement in 1990. He then worked for Swift Transportation in Lewiston until undergoing triple bypass surgery and retiring for good in 2005.
When Robert was not working he devoted his time to family and many hours as a volunteer camera operator for Life of Victory Christian Television in the LC Valley.
Robert and Lorraine moved to Lind in 2005 where they bought and restored Lorraine’s childhood home. They then moved to Moses Lake, to be closer to family.
Robert (Bob) was loving, funny, hard working and enjoyed playing golf with family and friends. No doubt he is on those heavenly fairways wearing his favorite t-shirt that says ‘Got Oxygen?’ because now he has plenty.
He was survived by his wife, three siblings, four children, and seven grandchildren all of whom will miss him greatly.
A celebration of life organized by the family will be held at a later date. Memorial donation may be made in Robert’s name to any charitable organization of your choice. Sign online guestbook at http://www.kayserschapel.com.
