The Adams Conservation District (ACD) staff announced the second sign up period for the Palouse Watershed Regional Conservation Partnerships Program (RCPP).
The program helps landowners establish voluntary incentive-based conservation practices, which enhance operations, improve soil and waterquality, and develop wildlife habitat.
ACD is committed to help landowners install 20 acres of riparian buffer and 2,000 acres of conservation tillage by June 2020.
They are also working with landowners on Cow Creek who have expressed interest in improving wetland habitat.
