Cole Alan Melcher was born on Aug. 1, 2008, to Rodney and Jani Melcher in Kennewick, Washington.
He attended Lind Elementary School.
Cole was born with both his mom and dad’s stubbornness, which he then used to give his parents and teachers a hard time.
He was very smart and always asking “why”. He was always on the go, with no end to his energy.
He loved to farm with his dad, play in the dirt with his “dirt toys”, farm with small farm toys in the house with his cousin John and play with his Legos and matchbox cars. He loved to rough house with his great grandpa. He was loved by all his family and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Althea Henckel. He is survived by his parents, Rod and Jani Melcher, his sister Alexis Melcher, his grandparents, Gordon and Alice Melcher, great grandparents, Bill and Ann Oord (Sunnyside). Uncles and Aunts : Jeff and Heather Melcher, Jay and Joan Henckel, Joel and Stephanie Henckel, Judson Henckel. Cousins: Nathan Melcher, John Melcher, Anna Henckel, Katie Henckel, Matthew Henckel, Luke Henckel, and numerous great aunts and uncles.
