Volunteer shifts available for Ritzville chamber ice cream booth

With the fair just two weeks away, the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce is in the middle of preparing for its annual ice cream booth at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair, set for Sept. 1-4.

Each year the ice cream booth is a popular location at the fair and serves as one of the chamber’s significant fundraisers.

Volunteers are needed to fill a few shifts during the four-day fair: Thursday, Sept. 1, shifts – one volunteer 12-2 p.m.; two 2-4 p.m.; two 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 – two volunteers 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 – two volunteers 12-2 p.m.; one 2-5 p.m.; two 5-8 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 4 –...
