Gladys J. Kent

Gladys J. Kent, 82, died Wednesday, July 13, at her home in Yakima. She was born in Ritzville, on Sept. 4, 1933, to Merle and Edith Johnston.

Most of her childhood was spent on the family farm just outside of Ritzville. She worked in banking prior to marrying Alfred Kent of Benge, in August of 1961.

They had a farm raising cattle, hay and wheat. She later clerked at the Benge Store. Gladys had many hobbies. All of us benefited from her sewing projects, upholstering, canvas art, knitting, crocheting and her many other talents.
