A new youth program specifically for girls has now been created in the Ritzville area with the creation of a local Frontier Girls Club. Created to help provide educational opportunities and activities for young girls, the Ritzville chapter has seen success in the first months since its start.
Many of the girls participating in the Frontier Girls Club have siblings or relatives who have been active with the area Boy Scouts chapter. The youth events and activities provided for the area boys led to parents researching similar programs for girls.
