Mary L. Blackham

Mary L. Blackham of Connell died July 7 in Salt Lake City Valley, Utah. Mary was born Feb. 17, 1926, to Mary and Rudolf Roybal.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene Blackham, her parents, her sister Stella Smith, her sons Danny and Stanley Shields, son-in-law Joe Potila and stepson Keven Blackham. She is survived by her son Steven Shields, daughters Rhonda Potila, Debera Shields, Connie Csaftis, and stepdaughters Nicki Kershake, Janie Lynch, Linda Blackham and their families.

Mary married Gene Blackham and they resided in Connell for many years. She returned to Salt Lake City Valley in 2006 to be close to family members.

She will be missed and forever a sweet memory in the hearts and minds of those blessed to have shared in her life.

Graveside service is Monday, Aug. 8, 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 275 U St., Salt Lake City Valley UT, 84103.
