Skate park demonstration on July 27

The Town of Lind has been chosen by the American Ramp Company (ARC) to have an all-wheel pump track temporarily installed to demonstrate how to use the track properly.

Anyone who owns a bike, skateboard, or scooter is welcome to join the event at the Southside Park in Lind, located at 119 West Main Street. All ages are invited to join. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 27 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Helmets and other proper equipment will be provided to those who do not have them. The event will include contests, special prizes and free food and drink.

This is a very unique opportunity for the Town of Lind to decide if there is any interest in installing a pump track in the community. The City Council looks forward to hearing the community’s feedback about the demonstration.

If the community makes the decision to install a track, then the Town of Lind will be applying for a grant to fund it.
