Lind Swimming Pool officially opens for the summer

After a minor delay due to water issues, the Lind Pool is now operational and open for all area residents. The pool is open from 1 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. daily, with the exception of the 5-7 p.m. closure on Saturdays and Sundays.

Adult swim continues to be offered from 6-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Every Friday from 8:30-10 p.m. is Teen Night for any individuals between the ages of 13 and 18. Tween Night is being hosted on the third Wednesday in July and August for kids between the ages of nine and 12.

There are two sessions of swim lessons this year, with the first one running from July 5-8 and July 11-14. The second session is July 18-21 and July 25-28.

Sessions begin as early as 10 a.m. with one class being hosted in the evening.

The Parent and Me session is being offered from 5:30-6:15 p.m., with dates to be determined.

The pool staff for the summer are Manager Jamie Schmunk and Lifeguards Alan Field, Dinah Gadberry, Aaron Ritz, Melanie Ziebell, Chris Dean, Jack Anderson, David Ziebell, Sharon Anderson and Brianna Kin Kade.
