First Avenue closure

Starting July 5, Ritzville residents can expect to see a detour in place on a portion of First Avenue. Roadwork will begin on July 5, closing East First Avenue from Columbia Street to Baumann Road until July 8.

A detour is in place on North Columbia Street, around to Main Avenue and East Templin Road. The road will be closed to East Danekas Road, but the Baumann Road railroad crossing will remain open.

Columbia, Palouse and Chelan streets will also be closed at First and Second Avenues, except for local traffic only.
