T-cats compete at State Championship Meet

The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats had two athletes move on to the State Championship Meet at Eastern Washington University.

Sophomore Jazzmyn Gordon and Freshman Autumn Meyers each competed in a single field event during the State Meet on May 28.

Gordon finished 14th in the state with a throw of 85-10” in discus.

Meyers placed 11th in the high jump contest with a 4-06” leap at the state track meet.

This is the first year both athletes have competed in track and field at the high school level.
