A proud tribute

Ernest Hemingway wrote “Courage is grace under pressure.”

This Memorial Day and every day, we remember our heroes who sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for our freedom and safety.

Our community really joins together to honor our heroes.

I wanted to thank and acknowledge the VFW, the American Legion and all the volunteers who decorated the cemetery and put on the beautiful service. It was especially wonderful to see our youth helping by putting flags on our veteran’s graves.

It was an inspiring sight to see the flags flying so proudly.
