Annual float preview May 19

The float preview will take place on Thursday, May 19, at dusk or 8 p.m. on Main Avenue.

The float this year is themed “Mayan Paradise” and it will do two loops on Main Avenue. The Lind-Ritzville High School band will be there as well to entertain the crowd.

The preview will take place in rain or shine and if it is raining residents are welcome to go to the Festivals Building located on Railroad Avenue to view the float there.

The Festivals Association asks that residents not park vehicles along Railroad Avenue after 6 p.m. as the float is extra wide this year and they want to ensure they have enough room to pass by safely.
