Birds of Play, Cool Threads 4-H Clubs participate in activities

The Birds of Play and Cool Threads 4-H Clubs met Saturday morning, April 2 at the Ritzville City Park for a photography workshop.

Our teacher, Barbara Heimbigner taught us how to properly compose a picture so we could improve our future pictures.

We learned about the rule of thirds and rule of golden triangles. She had us take some pictures and then talked to us about the good points and how we could improve.

Members taking part were Destiny Phelps, Gemini Correll, LeinHoa and myself, TanAn Hollenback.

I would like to thank Barbara Heimbigner for spending the time to teach us so much.

On the afternoon of April 2 members of the Birds of Play and Cool Threads 4-H Clubs went geocaching in Ritzville. We found Mo fun, Refueling The Gadget, Civic Minded and Sledge Hammer Highway Not.

At Sledge Hammer Highway Not, we had a little trouble because we did not know the clue. A lady helped us by telling us the clue and then we found it.

My brother, TanAn explained to us about the GPS and how it gave us the directions to find geo caches.

Going geocaching were Gemini, Devin and Tim Correll, Destiny Phelps, Janette Hollenback, Huong Tu, TanAn, Scott and me, LienHoa Hollenbacl.

We like to geocache because we like going outside and looking for things. Sometimes we trade things we have for things in the geocache. We used a GPS and downloaded the information from geocaching.com. In all I love going geocaching and I think you should try going geocaching.
