Norma Jean Clink Davey died on March 28 in Lind. She was born on Jan. 14, 1940, to Leslie and Thelma Spray Clink in Spokane.
Norma graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1958. She had numerous jobs through the years, but her passion was always the cattle business and she successfully built one of the largest Registered Black Angus operations in the state.
The American Angus Association had recognized the Davey Angus ranch for excellence on several occasions.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, son Donald Mark, parents Leslie and Thelma Clink, and brother Melvin Clink.
She is survived by daughters, Karla (Michael) Gust, Darla (Kyl) Shaver, grandchildren, Kayla (Nate) Ingram, Kelci (Chad) Payment, Cheyenne (David) Firestone, Chase (Kelci) Davey, Cathrine (Jacob) Wigen, Carson Shaver, Camden Shaver, Garrett Gust; great grandchildren, Trent Firestone and Owen Firestone, and niece, Shannon Clink Ray.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Lind Lions Club on April 9 at 12 p.m.
