Teen photo contest in April

The Ritzville Public Library is hosting a Teen Photo Contest during the month of April.

Teens can submit up to five of their best photos relating to the theme “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words” on Instagram or by email.

There will be three judges including teen and adult community members to choose a winner, a runner up and a second runner up.

There will be a ceremony on May 7 at 1 p.m. where winners will be announced and an award for “Crowd Favorite” will also be presented based on Instagram likes.

Entries will be displayed in the library throughout the month of May. The winner will receive a prize of $50.

To submit an entry via Instagram first follow the library at @ritzvillelibrary and then post your photo and tag the library.
