Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Join the Nature Conservancy in the heart of Lind Coulee on April 2 and April 3, for a habitat improvement project on the smallest sagelands preserve.
Noted as a quality sagebrush community remnant, the Lind preserve is situated in a highly fragmented landscape and is slowly recovering from the impacts of multiple wildfires.
This project targets the removal of fence line affected during the fires, which poses a major hazard to the movement of animals across the property.
The group will meet at 10:30 a.m. to carpool to the location and each volunteer session is expected to last from four to six hours.
